PEMRA orders Sahir Lodhi to apologize for his misbehavior

Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority has ordered private TV channel’s host Sahir Lodhi to apologize for talking carelessly about Quaid e Azam in his show.
PEMRA has ordered anchor Sahir Lodhi and channel administration to apologize from viewers on 24th June 2017 due to careless conversation by Sahir Lodhi during Ramadan transmission of the channel named “Ishq Ramadan”.
The channel administration has also been ordered to mention that this apology is due to the orders of PEMRA. Apart from that, the screenshot of apology by Sahir Lodhi will also be shown on the screen during his verbal apology. After the transmission of the program, PEMRA issued notice to the channel administration on 31st May 2017 and called them to submit written answer and also to give personal clarification through a representative.
It should be cleared that the actor and host Sahir Lodhi not only interrupted and criticized a female student during her debate but also uttered unacceptable and careless words about Quaid e Azam. People badly criticized his behavior later.
