Movie Dangal Neglected in IIFA Awards

The administration of IIFA Awards is facing severe criticism on neglecting the year’s most successful film “Dangal” during the 118th IIFA Awards in New York few days ago.
Bollywood stars beautified the IIFA Awards by participating in the event but the absence of big actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan and Akshay Kumar was strongly felt while most successful film of the year “Dangal”, that earned around 2000 crore from around the world, was neither given any award not included in any category.
The whole Indian media is surprise on the absence of world record holder film “Danagal” in any category of IIFA Awards. Chairman Indian Censor Board said on this issue that IIFA Administration sends a form to all production houses several months before award which has to be send back in due time after filling. Later, voting is held on these forms and the film is nominated for awards that receive most votes. But Aamir and “Dangal” couldn’t get entry in IIFA Awards because “Dangal” didn’t send the filled form to the administration of IIFA Awards.
On the other hand, director of Wizcraft International said that they would be happy to include film “Dangal” in the nominations of awards and it was possible that the film could win awards due to its huge popularity but unfortunately they didn’t send their entry after which they could not be given award and there is no mistake on their side.
It should be cleared that Alai Bhatt, Shahid Kapoor, Shabana Azmi, Anupam Kher, AR Rahman and several others were awarded during IIFA Awards 2017.
