Indian Movie Ban Reduces to 1 Week in Pak on Eid
Karachi, There was ban imposed on the release of the Indian movies on the Pakistani cinema houses on the Eids. Now the ban of 2 weeks on the Indian movies is not reduced to 1 week to release the Indian movies on the Pakistani cinema houses.
The Ministry of Information, Broadcasting, national, historical and culture heritage imposed the ban on the release of the Indian movies on Pakistani cinemas for two weeks on Eid and Pakistani movies will be released and they will get their cost. The media industry and other circles appreciated this decision. However, this ban is reduced to one week instead of two weeks and now the Indian movies will be released on the Pakistani cinema house just one week after the Eid.
The chairman of the Central Board of Film Censor said that the government has made this decision by keeping in view the local film industry and the convenience of the display of the movies and the government made the decision to restrict this ban to one week of the release of the movie on Eid ul Fitr and Eid ul Adha.
According to the sources, there is a mafia in the film industry, who forced to make this amendment in the ban of the Indian movies made by the government. This mafia has deep impression on the local cinema industry and this group is responsible to reduce the ban on the Indian movies in Pakistani cinemas. The chairman of Pakistan Film Distribution Association said that this is very powerful mafia and they do not know that due to their step, how much Pakistani movies will be affected? The distributors, who have bought the Pakistani movies, how much difficulties they will face?
After the relaxing in the ban on the Indian movies, Pakistani movies will have to compete the Indian movies. The Pakistani movies will have to compete with the movie, ‘Race 3’ of Bollywood dabang star, Salman Khan, which will be released one week after the eid. There is another Indian movie, ‘Sanju’, which is made on the life of Indian actor, Sanjay Dutt and it will also compete with the Pakistani movies.
The senior film distributors said that Pakistani movies got the time of two weeks to do the business and now they will have to do enough business in short time of one week. The Pakistani film producers were very happy with the ban of the Indian movies in Pakistan but this decision of relaxing in the ban has disappointed them.
On the other side, Indian film analyst showed his happiness after relaxing on the release of the Indian movies in Pakistan and said that it is the great news for Salman Khan and his fans. He said that he is certain that Pakistani film distributors were also wanted to release the Indian move, ‘Race 3’ in Pakistan.
