Aamir Khan Participated in Award Show after 16 Years

Mumbai, Mr Perfectionist of Bollywood film industry attended any award ceremony after about 16 years and he got the award for his movie, ‘Dangal’.
According to Indian media reports, Aamir Khan got the popularity that he did not attend the award show. He did not attend any award show for last 16 years. He attended the last award show of Oscar, where his movie, Lagaan was nominated for the best movie out of the country.
Recently, his movie, Dangal was declared the best movie in the biggest award show of India but he did not attend the award giving ceremony. Few days earlier, the legendary singer of India, Lata Mangeshkar invited him to attend the award show and surprisingly, he could not refused her to attend the award show and he attended the award show after about 16 years. He received the ‘Master Deena Nath Mangeshkar award’ for his movie. Aamer Khan gave the credit of the success of his movies to the writer and directors and said that these people are the great success for his movie as they worked hard for the success of his movie and these people are his recognition. The film fair also nominated his movie, ‘Dangal’ as the best movie but he refused to go to the award ceremony by saying that there is no importance of the commercial film award for him.
